Paddle story from SeaBird paddler Knut Lobben. Thank you Knut! SeaBird Team wishes you all the best, may all your hopes and wishes come true!
I lost my legs two years ago in a worksite accident. I was lucky I survived. Today I am left with two stumps, ending mid-thigh, something that has made it difficult to have good prosthetics made. At Sunnaas, a rehabilitation centre, I learned to be self-sufficient in a wheelchair. I have a car that has been adapted, and that has helped me reclaim a more independent life. |
