Two Norwegians Sebastian Plura Nilssen and Ljudvig Fjeld are are attempting to be the first people to paddle around all Svalbard Island.

Fifth Võhandu marathon will take place on 17th of April in Võru, Estonia. SeaBird Designs will participate and sponsor Võhandu marathon this year also.

Võhandu marathon is one of the most beautiful and toughest international paddle competitions in Europe. Distance is 100 km and competition will last for one day. Marathon will take place on Võhandu river that will offer many interesting and extreme moments during the race. Competition will start from Lake Tamula in Võru and will finish in Võõpsu. This is an awe-inspiring challenge for all paddlers.

Das Ganze fing für mich an, nachdem ich das Laden nach einem wunderbaren Bergsteigen und einem bechäftigtem Wochenende in Südestland erreichte. Ich stellte die letzten Sachen schnell ins Auto und weg in Richtung Rohuküla. In Rohuküla füllte ich das Kajak rasch mit dem Zeug. Das Gepackte wurde von einem Vater mit einer kleinen Tochter überprüft. Nichts konnte von denen ungemerkt bleiben. Sie haben nicht mal mit dem Auge gewinkt oder weggeschaut, sie haben nur ihren Mund oder ihren Körper bewegt. Über die See mit einer Fähre und schnell in den Schlafsack auf dem Strand.

SeaBird Designs ist vor kurzem von der Kanumesse, der bis jetzt gröβter Kajak- und Kanuausstellung Europas, zurückgekommen, und dort haben wir weiteres internationales Interesse für unsere neueste Kajakserie erweckt.
